My body rebels!

Well, I was afraid this would happen. My shoulder and my right hamstring have thrown in the towel. I talked to my orthopedist this morning to get the results of my MRI. I have arthritis, calcification and impingement in my right shoulder. This stem from a waterskiing accident 5 yrs. ago. I was trying to do a trick and my shoulders got jerked very hard by the ski rope. So for now, we're continuing conservative treatment with Mobic and P.T.
I am now the pansy of "Debbie's Dawgs" and can't push, lift or bend over without lifting my right leg so that the right gluteus/piriformis can heal. My Dr. wrote a note to excuse me from the workouts so I am walking on a treadmill without incline and gently swimming as my right shoulder will allow.
After seeing my test results and my "slow" metabolism, I am a bit disheartened but cannot give up.

Week One at D-1

I was so sore on the 2nd and 3rd days that I almost quit. However, after finding out how much body fat I have from the dunk tank, I decided that quitting was not an option! I already am enjoying so much getting to know these women and making new friends with a common goal.
